Liv—ing Room is a curated exhibition presented by AASSTTIINN at ALCOVA Milano, during Milan Design Week 2024. Held in the historic mezzanine of Villa Bagatti Valsecchi, a room framed by a triptych of doors, echoing the Persian architectural tradition of se dari, the show brought together six Iranian designers and studios: Studio Honarvar, Emrooz Studio, Amir Hesari, Kimia Kazemi, Solid Studio, and Zahdei. Rooted in themes of nature, materiality, and the act of living, the exhibition invited visitors into a space where carefully crafted objects speak of both fragility and resilience.
Studio Melli developed the full visual identity and graphic system for the exhibition. The typographic treatment of the title Liv—ing Room places an em dash at the heart of the word, suspending it between concept and place. The system extended across print materials, publications, postcards, motion graphics, and digital content.
